WELCOME TO FAITHFUL CROWN DAIRY GOATS!!
We are located in Indiana, about 40 miles from Lafayette, 70 miles north of Indianapolis, or about 80 miles from Fort Wayne. I have been raising Purebred ADGA registered Nubians since 2006. I raised Pygmys from 2001 but seeing a newborn Nubian got me hooked on this breed. And since goats are like potato chips, you can't just have a couple, my Nubian herd has grown quite a bit over the past few years. My goats are for the show ring but the girls certainly don't slouch in the milk pail.
Herd health is very important to me. My goats are fed good quality alfalfa hay, if there comes a time that's not available, I feed good quality grass hay supplemented with alfalfa pellets. Everyone has free choice Right Now Onyx minerals and baking soda. They also get a 16% grain ration of oats, corn, beet pulp, & dairy pellet. They are also given black oil sunflower seeds as needed. The goats are vaccinated with cd/t & pasturella, the does are given Lysigin. Goats are wormed and given BoSe as needed.

All of my dam raised does have tested NEGATIVE for CAE. All of my bottle raised kids have been raised on CAE prevention. Due to time restaints buck kids are not pulled to raise on prevention unless prior arrangements are made, however, all doelings are removed at birth and given heat treated colostrum and pasteurized goat milk. My entire herd is abcess free. We also do not take outside does in for breeding.
