WELCOME TO FAITHFUL CROWN DAIRY GOATS!!
Faithful Crown Dairy Goats is located in Indiana, about 40 miles from Lafayette, 70 miles north of Indianapolis, or about 80 miles from Fort Wayne. I have been raising Purebred ADGA registered Nubians since 2006. I raised Pygmys from 2001 but seeing a newborn Nubian got me hooked on this breed. And since goats are like potato chips, you can't just have a couple, my Nubian herd has grown quite a bit over the past several years. My goats are for the show ring but the girls certainly don't slouch in the milk pail.
Herd health is very important to me. My goats are fed good quality clover/grass hay supplemented with alfalfa pellets. Everyone has free choice Right Now Onyx minerals and baking soda. They also get a 16% grain ration. They are also given black oil sunflower seeds as needed. The goats are vaccinated with cd/t and pasturella. Goats are dewormed, given BoSe, and copper bolused as needed.
All of the kids are disbudded and tattooed prior to leaving. Kids are also up to date on vaccinations/deworming if they are old enough.
Updated photos will be added when time allows.
I do not accept outside does for breeding nor do I lease/rent any of the goats.
Sales policy: No goat/kid for sale will be held unless a deposit is paid in advance. Weaned kids must be picked up at 12 weeks of age unless prior arrangements have been made. Any kids raised on prevention will need to be picked up with in 72 hours unless prior arrangements have been made. Kids/goats with out deposits are sold on a first come basis. However, if a time/date is set I will hold that goat/kid until that time. Most kids will be dam raised; if you want a kid raised on prevention I must know that well over a month in advance!!!!!!
I do not accept checks unless it is for a deposit. CASH ONLY at time of pick up.
Website is under construction!! Check back for updates!!
2018 Update: After taking a long break from the show ring to deal with school, starting my career and getting through the loss of my parents, the gals will be back in the show ring in 2019! Keep checking back for updates. I have some new goats (either bought or raised here) that will be added to the website as time allows. Breeding plans aren't complete as of right now however if you are interested in 2019 kids let me know.
